Had my first ski day of the season yesterday. Owowowowowow. A hot shower and a night’s sleep has helped somewhat, but turns in the bumps today are not real pleasant. At least we’ve got more sunshine, and it’s not quite as warm, so it isn’t so slushy (yet).
WAY too many people on the slopes, though – some kind of problem with the grooming has a bunch of pistes closed, so all the holiday skiers are crammed on about 2/3 the regular number of trails. At least not very many of them seem interested in the off-piste, even the little shots between the marked trails. Oh well, more for us… 🙂
